The first is albonda.txt - a thirteen-generation ancestry {~326.7 kb} file for Béatrix, Dauphine d'Albon, born 1161, died 15 December 1228 after having been married successively with Albéric de Toulouse, Hughes III, Duc de Bourgogne, and Hughes, Seigneur de Coligny. The other file, albondd.txt {~33.4 kb} is a thirteen-generation descendancy series originating with Rostaing I  de Vienne who died in 844. [posted 15 October 2000].

d'AlsaceThe d'Alsace Coat of Arms as depicted on the left originally was hand drawn by André Roux in water color in the 1950's, and reconstituted to make up for fading paint colors - "De gueules à la bande d'Or, accompagnée de six couronne du même posées en orle." [Scroll 18, #169]

Alsacanc.txt (~279 kb) is a 10-generation ancestry from Marguerite who wass born in 1145, died on 15 November 1194 and on 12 April 1169 married Baudouin IV, Comte de Hainaut to include Luitgard de Lorraine.  Alsa2des.txt (~631 kb) is a 10 generation descendancy from Luitgard de Lorraine  who married first Adalbert Comte de Metz and secondly Éberhard IV, Comte d'Alsace to include Marguerite.  Alsa2des.txt (~17 kb) is a 6-generation descendancy from Comte Éberhard III who was alive in 881 and married Aelinde ... to include Comte Éberhard IV who married Luitgard de Lorraine. {Posted 25 January 2005]

Bourcdes.zip {304 kb} is a twelve-generation descendancy {compressed ASCII format file bourcdes.txt ~1.377 Mb} of Adelbert II, duc de Lombardie, who married Gerberge, Comtesse de Dijon and whose son was adopted by Henri, Comte de Bourgogne who dies in 1001 and who is Gerberge's second husband.

   Bourcanc.zip {143 kb} is a twelve-generation ancestry {Rich Text Format file Bourcanc.RTF ~867.5 kb} of Alix de Bourgogne, whose first husband in 1317 was Jean II de Chalon, Comte d'Auxerre. [posted 8 October 2000]

CHATILLO.ZIP {~2.2 Mb} contains five files in ANSI (generec word processor files {txt}). The first is chatianc.txt (~9.7 Mb) - a 26-generation ancestry file for Louis Gaucher, Duke de Châtillon, born 1737, died 1762 and married in 1756 Adrienne de la Baume-le-Blanc. The earliest descendancy file is a 15-generation descent (Chat1des.txt: ~491kb) from Eudes, Comte de Châtillon who was alive in 900. Three other descendancies pick up where this one leaves off: a 3-generation descent of Gaucher III, who died in 1342 (Chat2des.txt: ~4kb); a 2-generation descent for Gui II, who was born between 1338 and 1346 (Chat3des.txt: ~2 kb); a 10-generation descent of Gaucher VII who was born between 1342 and 1369, married in 1383 Marie Cassinel and died in 1413 (Chat4des.txt: ~14kb).

NOTE: I attempted many strategies to keep the long ancestry file (involving more than 14,000 individuals) to minimum size, including direct PDF and ZIP exports from my genealogy software, and also Word DOC, WordPerfect WPD, and text exports.  The shortest file was attained by exporting from my genealogy software to Wordperfect (12), then saving from Wordperfect to ANSI (Generic word processor format) which can be read fairly well by all word processors including the windows clipboard. In other formats, the ancestry file was more than 13 Mb. [posted 2 January 2005].

Comboanc.txt is a 16-generation (983 kb) ancestry of Vicomte Archambaud VII born between 1209 and 1233 to Sigisbert, Comte de Rouergue.  Comb1des.txt is is a 15-generation (1.226 Mb) descendancy from Fulcoad, Marquis de Toulouse, Comte de Rouergue who was alive in 837 and married Sénégonde d'Autun, to Archambaud VII.  From that descendancy, two more are continued to: Comb2des.txt a 9-generation (11 kb) descendancy from Guichard born before 1220 and who married Mathé de L:a Marche to Amanieu who in 1489 married Catherine de Vivonne and in 1497 married Catherine de Chastellus; Comb3des.txt, a 4 generation (10 kb) descendancy from Archambaud VII to Archambaud IX who was born in 1331 and who in 1341 married Marie de Châlue.
