NAMUR.ZIP (40 kb) contains two files in Rich-Text word-processor format (RTF): NamurDes.rtf (89 kb) is an 8-generation descendancy for Bérenger, Comte de Namur who was born in 897 and who died in 946 - to include Ermessinde.  NamurAnc.rtf (84 kb) is an 8-generation ancestry for Ermesinde de Namur born in July 1186, died 12 February 1247 and who in 1197 married Thibaud I, Conte de Bar-le-Duc. {Posted 27 November 2008}.

de NavarreThe de Navarre coat of arms as depicted on the left is based on a description by André Roux in the 1950's - "De Gueules aux chaines d'or posées en pale, en fasce, en sautoir et en orle, chargées en coeur d'une émeraude."  [Scroll 20, #207]

NAVARRE.ZIP (~673 kb) contains two files in Rich-Text Format (rtf): Navardes.rtf (~372 kb) is a 15-generation descendancy for Inigo Jimenez (who lived in the 780's) to include the father of Blanche.  Navaranc.rtf (3.53 Mb) is a 16-generation ancestry for Blanche, Dame de Navarre who was born in 1179, died on 14 March 1229 and on 1 July 1195 married Thibaud V, Comte de Champagne. {Posted 28 November 2008}.

RAMIRO2.ZIP contains a ten-generation descendancy file [in ASCII format, ~390k uncompressed] from King Ramiro II de NAVARRE who is descendant 3.3.2.1.1.2.1 in the Descendants of Robert I, King de France posted on these genealogy pages earlier. [posted 1 January 1998].

The de Nevers Coat of Arms as depicted on the left originally was hand drawn by André Roux in water color in the 1950's, and reconstituted to make up for fading paint colors - "D'azur semé de billettes d'or au lion du même armé et lampasséde gueules brochant sur le tout."  [Scroll 14, #117].

The second file is Normades.txt (215 kb) - a 7-generation descent of Duke Rollon was born circa 870, and died in 931 to include Henri I, King of England.  He married Popa de Bayeu twice and in between in 912, he married Gisèle, Princesse de France. POITIERS.ZIP (~10 kb) contains two ANSI generic word-processor files (txt): Poitides.txt [~26 kb] provides a 4-generation descendancy from Comte Guillaume III who was born circa 969, died 31 January 1030, married circa 969 Almodis = Adèle de Gévaudan, married in 1011 Sanche de Gascogne and married in 1019 Agnès, Pricnesse de Lombardie.  Poitianc.txt [~10 kb] picks up with Agnès who married Aimery VI, Vicomte de Thouars, and who in 1135 married Ramiro II, King de Navarre and provides a 4-generation ancestry to Comte Guillaume III. {posted 14 January 2005}
